A1 · Lesson 050

Body parts

Name a body part and explain where it hurts.

By the end of this lesson

Name everyday body parts, point to a painful area and answer a simple examination question.

Start with the body words, then practise location and movement language in two short clinical exchanges.

Say this now

I have a headache.

Say as a manphǒm bpùat hǔa khrápผมปวดหัวครับ
Say as a womanchǎn bpùat hǔa khâฉันปวดหัวค่ะ

These examples teach communication. Describing an ache does not establish its cause; let a clinician assess an injury. ปวด (bpùat) is common for aches; เจ็บ (jèp) is common for soreness or pain on touching or moving, with overlap in real use.

Sentence shape: I → have a headache → polite ending.
