A1 · Lesson 056

Emergencies: fire & ambulance

Report what happened and give a clear location.

By the end of this lesson

Ask for emergency help, describe visible conditions and give an exact location without guessing a diagnosis.

Practise a medical help call and a conversation about a fire exit. State the address and entrance, and answer the operator’s questions.

Say this now

Please call an ambulance urgently.

Say as a manchûay rîak rót phá yaa baan dùan khrápช่วยเรียกรถพยาบาลด่วนครับ
Say as a womanchûay rîak rót phá yaa baan dùan khâช่วยเรียกรถพยาบาลด่วนค่ะ

These are communication examples, not first-aid or evacuation instructions. Follow the emergency operator and local responders. Example addresses and building details are fictional. In Thailand, 1669 is the medical emergency line; 199 is for fire reporting. These are different services. Official numbers checked 16 October 2026.
